It is a day to express gratitude to our "mother" for her daily hardships by handing her Carnations...

Today's we made another survey and the topic is [What is your ideal mother anime character?]

In advance. From May 2 to 7th, I list 20(mother) of characters name as a reference data recruited on twitter. Made it easy and possible to vote by select only one person from among them.
As a results we gathered from 155 people. The ratio between men and women is almost half, but men are slightly higher. Over 40% of teenagers & 30% of 20year old-and over.

First-place "Isono Fune (Sazae-san)"

It "Isono Fune" for the first place from the longevity anime "Sazae-san" which lasts for over 40 years. It about "Sazae, katsuo & wakame" three mothers, also "Tarao's grandmother" as well. The story talking about traditional Japanese society since it alludes to a simpler time before modern technology "Sazae-san" dressing up in kimono and housekeeping. It about the happiness the "little things" in life can bring.

Second-place "Sanae Furukawa (CLANNAD)"

It "Sanae Furukawa" a gentle mother of heroine "Nagisa" form the anime series "CLANNAD". who runs a bakery with her husband's "AKIO". Normally she's very childish and a cry-baby, but when needed she can be very strong-willed and dependable.

Third-place "Uzumaki Kushina (NARUTO)"

It become "Uzumaki Kushina" for the third-place, She was the mother of "Uzumaki Naruto", and the wife of "Namikaze Minato". A gentle and has a very strong-willed. She appeared in the second half of the story.
